Hurricane Sandy Kicked Our Butts

So Monday night we had Hurricane Sandy come and rip up the East Coast. We lost power Monday night and got it back this morning (Saturday). Our neighbors tree fell down, and took out our pine tree at the foot of the driveway, so there was this huge tree blocking the street then another one that took out our fence and was on top of my mother's car for a little bit (it only left a few little dents). When we heard the tree fall, my mom went out to see the damage, and fell on the stairs, where she broke her foot. She is on crutches but has a walking boot, and when she feel better she can get off crutches. But that was pretty much the extent of the damage. Kate and I spent a lot of time sleeping over other people's houses and my friend slept over our house for one night, so it was a bit crazy this week. Takeout every night. We have been out of school for a week now, but we will hopefully be back Monday. Halloween was rescheduled in Jersey for Monday... for the second year in a row. Also, gas is in extreme shortage right now, but we're doing fine so far. The real damage is the shore, Seaside and LBI are pretty much gone. My grandparents place in Ocean City survived, so thats good. But we survived it, and we even got power today. Pictures are on Facebook if you want to see the big tree.
